The birth place of Shri Raghavendraswamy at Bhuvanagiri has a temple dedicated to the faith, coming under the purview of the main mutt at Mantralayam. Facelift to the external facade and interior ambience for the existing temple, through enhancement of lighting and ventilation by architectural interventions are the scopes of the project.Changing orientation of existing stone Garbagriha was planned with addition of more natural lighting into the big hall being necessary and is achieved through careful placement of skylights inspired by the slits in stone roofs around Garbagriha of South Indian temples. Stone work and stone architectural design is thescope of Sthapathi. Co-ordinating with their design, efficient structural solutions to tie the new and existing structures incorporating the interventions brought an improved new look and feel to the premises.
Yatri – nivas, accommodation facility for the multitude of pilgrims, also at Bhuvanagiri is a functional and prominent structure, without breaking ethos of the activities.
The new premises at Haridwar, hosts the temple for the worship of the devotees with dining hall and kitchen adjacent to it. Guest rooms are provided at upper level for use of visitors. A very pleasant white and grey façade exudes the spiritual calmness of the Divine from within.
