Inspired by Hoysala style of Architecture, this majestic temple is dedicated to Shri Sivan Sir, brother of Maha Periyavaa of Kanchi mutt. A double height proportionate internal volume encompasses a solid stone structure which is the traditional Garbagriha. Outside this space is topped by and intricate Vimana. A shrine to Kanchi Maha Periyava is also located in this atrium. The ground floor also has a large hall for holding religious discourses and other events and gatherings of devotees. First floor hosts the temple kitchen and dining hall for devotees. The priest accommodation is housed in the second floor.
